    Do you belief in God or the darwinistic evolution theory?

    Screening the web I came by the site religioustolerance.org which didn't seem very interesting to me. Hovewer I got stuck at an essay about comparing U.S. religious beliefs with other "christian" countries. It is not really news but the figures are still quite interesting and reveal some remarcable differences (also within a country).
    The table below comes from an international survey conducted by the International Social Survey Program (ISSP) which is currently located at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago.
    Seven questions were asked:
    bulletGod: "I know God exists and I have no doubts about it"
    bulletAfterlife: I definitely believe in "life after death"
    bulletBible: "The Bible is the actual word of God and it is to be taken literally, word for word." A yes answer implies that the subject believes in the inerrancy of the Bible.
    bulletDevil: I definitely believe in "the Devil."
    bulletHell: I definitely believe in "Hell."
    bulletHeaven: I definitely believe in "Heaven."
    bulletMiracle: I definitely believe in "religious miracles."
    The results of a survey showing the percentage of persons who said yes to the following question: "In your opinion, how true is this? ...Human beings developed from earlier species of animals.." The results are a measure of belief in human evolution, and disbelief in creation science.
