It shows you similar artists and their connections. The movie one connects movies by director, actors, and genre. "Data is grouped according to interests, style, epoch and other criteria ... liveplasma becomes your personal discovery tool for bands and movies." It is highly recomended to join the free membership in order to experience the full capacity of the website. <- This site has an awsome interface and the idea is great but during my resaerch I experienced a few glitches: The databases seem to be rather poor <- not knowing the movie Citizen Kane seems incredible but it did know Orson Welles and his movie Citizen Kane (OK - we don't have to understand this). This was just one example of many. Another disappointment was that it seems not possible to becomer member, hovewer the site still encourages me and I will come bye again ;-) |
